A procedural generator that makes a tiled world map
with landmasses, biomes, rivers, temperature, and precipitation. Rimworld was the direct inspiration for it.
The generator works on both desktop and mobile, but please note that for the best experience on mobile you should generate only very small or tiny maps.
Customize Your World
Choose from a single landmass, multiple continents, or arbitrary noise. Then customize your world further by setting the average temperature and precipitation. Do you want a lush, tropical paradise, or a barren, frigid tundra?
Where Do You Want to Embark?
The world map generator creates detailed information about every tile it generates. Click anywhere on the completed map to view the biome, drainage, temperature, precipitation, presence of rivers, and even types of stone present.
A Myriad of Maps
View alternate map modes that show, for example, how air currents blow heat and water around the map. You can even see the tectonic plates that drive the underlying simulation.
