New Feature: Minions, pt. 2

  • Minions now aggro any player that damages a nearby ally
  • Aggro lasts for 3s before minions retarget
  • Melee minion health raised from 100 to 500
  • Ranged minion health raised from 100 to 300
  • Ranged minion attack damage raised from 15 to 30
  • Time between waves raised from 20s to 30s

Cape and Item Interactions with Minions

Bakuda

  • Cranial Bombs hit, stick to, and damage minions
  • Pain Bombs damage and apply the pain effect to minions
  • Experimental Rocket Prototype passes through minions

Burnscar

  • Minions cannot be lit on fire by any means, but they do take damage from fires that they walk through
  • Pyrokinesis hits and damages minions, but does not light them on fire. Instead, a fire lights on the ground where the minion was hit.
  • Torcherer damages minions but does not light them on fire
  • Arsonal damages minions but does not light them on fire

Contessa

  • Double Tap damages minions

Glory Girl

  • Aura: Terror fears and damages minions
  • Aura: Awe taunts and reduces resistances on minions

Panacea

  • Atonement/Indulgence passes through minions
  • Understandable/Forgiveable applies its effects to minions
  • Kheprify/Wretchify cannot target minions

Shadow Stalker

  • Tranq Dart stuns minions

Sundancer

  • All abilities damage minions
  • Orb: Protect cannot target minions

Bakuda’s Mask

  • Passes through minions

Contessa’s Revolver / Contessa’s Fedora

  • Only hero kills give stacks, not minion kills

Crawler’s Spittle

  • Procs on minions

March’s Mask / March’s Rapier

  • Procs on minions

Miss Militia’s Rifle

  • Splash damage affects minions

Newter’s Skin

  • Procs on minions

Panacea’s Scarf

  • Affects minions

Scapegoat’s Mask

  • Procs on minions

Shatterbird’s Glass Storm

  • Affects minions

Other Item Changes

  • Miss Militia’s Rifle splash damage raised from 0.2x AD to 0.6x AD
  • Miss Militia’s Rifle splash damage no longer affects the primary target
    • Miss Militia’s Rifle is meant to be an AOE item, not a good source of single target damage. These changes should make MMR’s AOE more meaningful while taking away most of its single-target killing potential.

UI Changes

  • Added black and white outline around score indicator for arena mode
  • Added game clock
  • Added visual and auditory indicator for last-hitting minions

Bug Fixes

  • Minions are now correctly allocated to teams for both players, not just the host
  • Both players now correctly start at level 3 in arena mode, not just the host
  • Minions no longer attack allied heroes
  • Fixed bug where minions would become untargetable and be missing their health bars
  • Fixed bug where minions would die immediately after leaving the portal
  • Totems now clear nulls from their lists of affected players
  • Added null checks for minion endpoints and minion hero components
